Deposits

Choosing a bid and appointment temporarily holds an available studio room. The deposit confirms the booking and comes off the artist’s quoted fee. Deposits are non-refundable by default. Any live exceptions are still being decided. If they exist, they will be listed on this page.

What you pay on this site

Checkout may add ordinary payment-processing cost. That amount is shown before you confirm. Inkable does not take a cut of the artist’s fee. The rest of the quote is due at the partner studio on the sitting day. Studio balances are not collected here.

If you change or cancel

In this prototype you can move a sitting yourself when more than 24 hours remain. That window is a demo convention. The live client window is still being decided. Cancelling a confirmed sitting does not return the deposit by default.

If the artist cancels or does not show

An artist who misses a confirmed sitting, or cancels inside 24 hours, is permanently removed from Inkable. There is no warning round for those two. How a client deposit is treated in that case is still being decided.
